Art Gallery of Nova Scotia – Art & The Brain
September 23rd 2011 – January 29th 2012
1723 Hollis Street
Just thought I’d share this exhibit with anyone who’s interested, the opening reception has already passed, but the show runs until the 29th of January. A blurb about the show can be read here, along with information regarding artist talks and public lectures. Go see!
Visual Arts Nova Scotia has put together a group exhibit entitled “I Spy.” Here’s their blurb about the show: ”Investigating the pervasiveness of social media and digital espionage, I Spy explores how digital culture has complicated notions of privacy, voyeurism, trust and the proprietorship of images.”
My untitled painting (below) is included, and will likely be among some very interesting pieces with similar threads of conversation. The exhibit is included as part of this year’s Photopolis, Halifax’s Festival of Photography. The dates and the location for the show are:
1113 Marginal Road
October 3rd – 31st, 2011 Hope you can make it out!
