I really like this, could you post a photo showing the uh… text of the brush strokes?

Beautiful! This is a different approach than your smaller painting. To me, it looks a little less of a disaster.

I believe I’m more of a bad blogger than you are. I leave plenty of comments but I haven’t updated my blog with content that people can actually comment on!

Hey Ambera, I think when it comes to leaving comments, there should be an unwritten rule: only leave comments if you genuinely respond in someway to work. Unfortunately I think some bloggers may feel obliged to leave comments ‘to be polite’. I think as artists we need to be genuinely honest and helpful to our community of blogging artists. As for your work, whether you leave a comment on my blog is irrelevant to whether I for one leave a comment on your blog: I genuinely enjoy your paintings so I do leave comments to state that. By the way, love the painting, beautifully completed. r.

the composition in this one is very good, and the clouds seem (as usual in your work) can be touched

  5. Very nice, thanks for the tips on technique

  6. Ambera – this piece is AMAZING.
What a wonderful way for me to end my day, to have seen this piece!
I just returned from a day outing in the city of Chicago, IL… walked through many galleries, and was fairly disappointed with the art that I saw there… only to return to a state of drooling once I saw your new piece!
I am absolutely in love with your dramatic “clouds” – even if they are as a result of fire!

I love this painting. I found while surfing etsy. It’s beautiful and powerful. I like reading about your journey with your art, too. Keep it up.

Corinne, I agree, it’s less disastrous than the first.

Rahina, I’m with you: you should feel moved to leave a comment. I also wish there were more criticism, (constructive of course).

    Thanks Luis!

    Thanks Gail!

Aw, Jennifer that’s so sweet! I hope you had a good trip, I’ve always wanted to see Chicago.

    Thank you so much Rowena!

Not a bad blogger at all. We understand you’re busy! Keep up the good work. Love Horizon Fire. Looks so real.

  11. I love this painting!!

    Love this painting!
blogging is time-consuming. You had far more worthy things to do with your time, and your paintings show that you’ve done them! Today, as I have bronchitis and it’s rainy and I am just sitting home for the first time in ages, I just stopped by a bunch of blogs I used to visit when I had time. I love seeing all the work you’ve done these past months. What a year you’ve had!!!
    Great work as always.

since childhood i have been looking at clouds and have thought that they have different characters floating around… a battle field, a romantic scene, a thinking man, but all dramatic and so lovely. your paintings reinforce the fact that they have their own mood to expose. some are engulfing, some are dominating, some are preparing for something big, some throw warnings, some are soothing….the characters are so beautifully painted in your paintings. beautiful!

It’s good to see you posting, blogging, etc.. I used to come by a lot, but probably didn’t comment much. Love your work and words.

    Have a productive summer!

  15. ambera says:

    Aw thanks Paz!!

    Thank you Cheyenne!

Solvay that’s so nice of you to say. Get well soon!

VJ, I feel the same. Thank you!

    Thanks Melinda!

    Another outstanding piece Ambera!

  17. ambera says:

    Thanks Barbara!!

  18. I wish there was more constructive criticism too.
Rahinagh’s comment is right on the spot about lots of “polite” comments.
By the way, I meant to leave a comment here when I got this in my mail box 3 weeks ago but I forgot.
