Ben Caplan and the Casual Smokers…and an Epic Beard
I’ve just painted the finishing touches on what will be the cover of Ben Caplan’s new record, ‘In the Time of the Great Remembering.’
Good News!
I’ve been selected as the regional winner of BMO’s 1st Art award, which honours newly graduated art students in Canada.
The untitled painting will be exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art in Toronto this October.

Long Overdue
New York is keeping me busy. So busy in fact, I haven’t had a chance to post anything new in over a month. Here are a few shots from the opening reception of “17 Clouds,” the closing reception of which is tomorrow afternoon from 2-5 pm at Umbrella Arts, 317 E 19th Street, New York. Hope to see you there!

Some news! Summer studio students at NSCAD have organized an exhibit of works produced over the past few months. On Wednesday, August 18th, the public is invited to explore NSCAD’s painting studios at the Granville campus and see what people have been up to all summer. The opening begins at 5pm, there will be refreshments and lots of beautiful, stimulating, challenging art to see. I really encourage people to come and see how diverse the work is, and meet the great people behind it. Plus, the campus building is a really neat old labyrinth of studios and is super fun to explore. Hope to see you there!
